Week 4 EOC: Differences between Advertisement and Marketing

The difference between marketing and advertisement is that advertisement sales what pleases the eyes of men. Advertisement persuade people to buy a product that is presented well and encouraging them to take such actions. "Advertisement sales happiness," Don Draper. It also creates persuasive message to the public or potential buyers. Advertisement includes, placing banners, classified ads, etc. which is a great effective way in luring customers to tell them that they got have the item or product or get them thinking in buying them the next time they see it. Advertisement fulfill ones needs and wants, they attack in a temptation way that produces charm and romance just to advertisement or compel their customers and captivating them with pleasant advertisement to their product.

Whereas Marketing differs. Marketing is made up of a whole strategy that makes it way up to be bought or known. Before the product is put out into the public, it first has to go through a process in which the product is shown to prospective sellers or consumers who will want to sell the product itself. "To market a product it is first introduced to a marketplace," 4hb. Marketing is where a company chose what type of product is essential and acceptable to sale or service to what may bring interest to customers. Marketing watches what people are looking for, what they want to have, what they want to owe. Marketing focuses on getting their product saleable to other companies, they have to be innovative, they make charts, data, and bets are made just to sell products, which can face many unexpected terms that it can be quiet hard and harsh for sellers to sell their product. “Markets are constantly in a state of uncertainty and flux and money is make by discounting the obvious and betting on the unexpected. http://thinkexist.com/quotations/marketing/

Should America have a strong dollar or a weak dollar

I think America should have a weak dollar because it cuts expenses especially for those unnecessary things. After the wake of the economy’s recession, which the country is still trying to revive from, the economy has been going off and on with the budget crisis. I think, the weaker the American dollar, the more budgeted the economy will be. For instance, it will save the economy time and money when exchanging goods to foreign country. Being making the dollar weak, the economy will grow into a stable and strong country. And supporting eco-friendly research, i.e. electric cars and solar energy can greatly improve a healthier and prosper society.

Week 2: EOC

My bad experience was when I went to El Polo Loco with my dad to buy some chicken. So, we drove around to find a restaurant and suddenly spotted El Polo Loco, the only restaurant that was close by on a traffic light we were in. So, anyway, we drove through the drive-thru and ordered our food, paid for it, and went off on our way. As we were driving to go home, I looked at the food and the receipt and realized that the window casher didn’t give us the exact amount of change. And once we found out, my dad turned, who was almost halfway home, and was angry, unpleased about it, and took the chicken back, this time inside the restaurant and complaint about the widow lady who had given us the wrong changed and even lied about her mistake when my dad was trying to explain the amount of money he had given her and so my dad and I called for the manager but the manager had told us that he would give us more chicken instead of the money that was missing and I thought, wow, unbelievable, we are never going to come back here again.

My good experience was when I had bought a jacket and it had a hole on the left sleeve of the jacket and so, I went to back to the store at the last minute, and had to plead for the person working that night to give me 2 minutes to exchange my jacket because I needed it to wear for my graduation, which was in ’08, and the lady totally understood and she had no problem me exchanging my jacket even it was the last minute. So I loved the service they been given and I still shop there until now.

And I also doing landscapes and nature photography, as well. Though, my deepest desire is to become a photojournalist establishing a documentary photography. " And I understood that documentary photography has the ability to interpret events from a point of view." says, James Nachtwey. I like my photos to have awareness. I love for my images to have stories, but not just a story, but the kind of story that makes people pay attention, especially to their surroundings. I like to bring emotions and at the same time justice to my images. Photographs that can make a difference and a change in people. The kind of photos that gives attention to cause and the critical issues of the world around us. Photos that speaks into the minds and hearts of the people. Traveling places and documenting every necessary events that captures humanitarian act and covering the darkest days of humanity, like those you see in the TIME magazines and LIFE magazines and National Geographic magazines. I want my photos to have importance. I am more interested in truths, than publicity stunts. "Every story does not have to sale something, there's also a time to give." says James Nachtwey.
